OUCH!!!!

11:50 I am in agony!! I have really hurt my back moving the sofas up the stairs at Faye's flat. OWOWOWOW!! It hurts so much I have been sick! Obviously I'm not going to work, and I feel terrible for that as I know how badly it will disrupt things and also will be a major inconvenience. I have a doctor's appointment at 5pm but work said I should go to A&E right away. I am waiting to hear from Faye to see if she can take me. I'll try and update this later. Right now even breathing hurts!

19:05 I am at Faye's. Didn't go to A&E. My doctor said that I've either strained the muscles in my back and neck (which now also hurts!), or torn them. If it's only a strain, it will be better in a few days. If, however, it's a tear, it could take weeks!! Either way, it will get worse for the next 48 - 72 hours as the muscles get inflamed and stretched. Great!
